Coeur d'alene River
Mirror Lake Trail
Recreation and Activities
ATV/MOTORCYCLE RIDING: There are hundreds of miles of primitive roads accessible for motorized use for all levels of riders and side-by-side users.
FISHING: Opportunities abound for fishing along Latour Creek and the Coeur d'alene River or Crystal Lake (accessible by a 2-mile hiking trail)
SWIMMING: Latour Creek runs along the campground and the Coeur d'alene River is a short drive away
FLOATING/TUBING: A popular summer activity for many is to float or tube down the Coeur d'alene River. Multiple put-in/take-out options are available depending on how long you want to be on the water.
HIKING: There are two local designated hiking trails into remote mountain lakes. Mirror Lake is a 2-mile roundtrip hike and I would recommend a 4x4 or ATV to access the trailhead. Crystal Lake is a 4-mile roundtrip hike that is accessible by car.
BIKING/CYCLING: We are 8-miles from the Cataldo trailhead of the Trail of the Coeur d'alenes bike trail. A 72 mile paved rails to trails system that runs from Mullan, Idaho to Plummer, Idaho. The trail offers outstanding scenery and wildlife. We are less than an hour drive to the famous Hiawatha trail that offers riders amazing views over train trestles and adventure through it's long tunnels.
